In the summer of 1995 the National Youth Council of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Ryakuga facilitated the first youth powered, participatory grassroots community radio event in the Caribbean.

The event was documented in a Ryakuga video called The Bus.

International youth produced the broadcasts from a school in Overland during the Caribbean Youth Federation work-study camp.
